The studio
Twelve reformers in an old Fishtown knitting mill, no mirrors, and an instructor who knows your name by week two. We teach you to feel your alignment instead of watching it.

Springs Instead of Weights
Resistance you can dial from feather-light to fierce, on a carriage that slides with you. Every class uses the same four parts.
01
The carriage
The padded bed that slides on rails. You move it; it never moves you.
02
The springs
Four colors of spring set the load, light for control and heavy for strength.
03
The footbar
Where most of footwork starts, set to the length of your legs.
04
The straps
Loops for hands or feet, for the arm work and the long leg circles.
Thirty-One Classes a Week
Book every class online ahead of time. Waitlists move up on their own until two hours before class, and the times stay the same week to week.

“I've done reformer in three cities and this is the first studio where nobody rushes the setup. My lower back hasn't hurt since March.”
Kendra, Northern Liberties
“Jumpboard at 6am with Simone is the hardest 45 minutes of my week, and I've stopped missing it.”
Marcus, Kensington
“Joelle got me back on the reformer eight weeks after my son was born, slowly and safely.”
Leah, Port Richmond
Before Your First Class
Anything else? Call or text the studio at (215) 555-0168.
I've never done Pilates. Can I still come?
Yes. Start with Reformer Foundations: it is slow, it teaches the machine, and the instructor sets your springs with you. About a third of every Foundations class is brand new.
What should I wear and bring?
Fitted clothes you can move in, so your instructor can see your alignment, and grip socks, which are required. We sell them at the desk for $14. Towels, filtered water and a shower are free.
How often should I come?
Two or three classes a week is where most people feel the change, usually within the first month. Our intro gives you three classes in three weeks to find your rhythm.
I have an injury, or I'm pregnant. Is it safe?
Tell us when you book. Many of our clients start with a private so we can learn what works for your body. Joelle teaches Prenatal & Postnatal twice a week, alongside your doctor's advice.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel up to 12 hours before class and the class goes back on your account. Later cancels and no-shows use the class, because someone on the waitlist could have taken it.
Where do I park?
There is metered street parking on Frankford Avenue and free parking on most side streets after 6pm. Better yet, the Girard stop on the El is two blocks away, and there is a bike rack out front.
Your First Class Is Fifty Minutes
